Ensure staff works together as a team to provide optimal service and meet guest needs. Inspect staff grooming and attire, and address any deficiencies. Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, and securing doors. Check storage areas for organization, FIFO usage, and cleanliness. Conduct scheduled inventories and requisition supplies. Monitor dining rooms for seating, service quality, safety, and guest well-being. Submit work orders for maintenance repairs.
Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees. Serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment / Open Door Policy. Follow all company safety and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete safety training and certifications. Maintain a professional appearance, keep proprietary information confidential, and protect company assets. Greet guests warmly, anticipate and address their needs, assist guests with disabilities, and thank them sincerely. Communicate clearly and professionally. Foster positive relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to colleagues' concerns. Ensure compliance with quality standards and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, safety, and cost savings. Read and verify information in various formats; visually inspect tools, equipment, and machinery for defects. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds; manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills; navigate narrow or elevated spaces; ascend and descend stairs or ramps; reach overhead and below knees, including bending and twisting. Perform other duties as assigned.
