Role Purpose:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Executive to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts and providing sound legal advice to support the business's operations. This role requires a solid legal background, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, draft, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including but not limited to:
  • Facility Management Contracts
  • Maintenance and Service Agreements
  • Supplier Agreements
  • Contract Amendments
  • Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
  • Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
  • Consultancy and Contractor Agreements
  • IT and SaaS (Software as a Service) Contracts
  • Prepare and issue legal notices, including breach notices, demand letters, and termination notices.
  • Provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders on contractual obligations, risk exposure, and compliance.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure contracts align with company policies and risk frameworks.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of legal templates and standard operating procedures.
  • Support dispute resolution processes and liaise with external legal counsel as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized university.
  • 4 6 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in the retail or FMCG sector.
  • Strong expertise in contract law with proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic, particularly for contract drafting, is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Experience in an in-house legal role.
  • Familiarity with local laws and regulatory requirements in the GCC region (if applicable).
