Job description

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Structures Supervisor within the production and structure area has several key functions. These include effectively communicating organizational needs to the team, overseeing and monitoring employee performance to ensure objectives are met, providing guidance and support through coaching and mentoring, and identifying development needs within the production unit. Additionally, this role involves managing workflow by assigning tasks, preparing schedules, and monitoring productivity, as well as verifying that production output meets specifications.

Responsibilities:

1. Planning and executing daily/weekly tasks
2. Ensuring compliance with ITP & Project requirements
3. Overseeing operations to meet deadlines
4. Coordinating with material planners and buyers to ensure material availability
5. Supervising panel shifting, tilting, and recording activities
6. Checking welding quality and NDEs, releasing for painting
7. Guiding fabricators on structural fabrication and accessory preparation
8. Planning work sequences according to procedures and ITB
9. Participating in OPL meetings and resolving production blockers
10. Meeting schedule milestones within budget hours
11. Communicating and resolving blocking points with stakeholders
12. Preparing repair procedures for material issues
13. Providing daily and weekly progress reports
14. Maintaining housekeeping and implementing improvements
15. Allocating work with proper manpower planning to avoid excess overtime
16. Updating KPI boards daily with relevant metrics
17. Managing consumables inventory
18. Coordinating training with HR and proposing new training needs
19. Establishing performance improvement plans for underperformers

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Engineering degree or graduation with applicable certification
• Minimum 8 years of experience in structural erection
• Fluent in English; Hindi preferred
• Experience in monitoring and closing piping punch lists
• Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings
• Knowledge of control valve installation, piping spools, and supports
• Understanding of pressure testing and piping packages
• Willing to work at the job site in RAK, UAE
