We are seeking a Planning Engineer to support multiple data center projects for a top technology company. This client-facing role involves complex planning and scheduling tasks, including change management, scheduled maintenance, and multi-project resource management.

Responsibilities:
- Establish strong relationships with clients and communicate effectively with technical and management personnel.
- Review project plans, requirements, and specifications.
- Work with clients and contractors to develop work breakdown structures (WBS), CPM baseline schedules, and integrated master schedules (IMS).
- Load schedules with resource and cost data.
- Perform resource analyses to identify bottlenecks.
- Maintain and update schedules and reports regularly.
- Prepare and present progress reports and recommendations to management.
- Coordinate reviews of schedules with consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Report on schedule changes, delays, or accelerations.
- Track and analyze onsite construction productivity.
- Develop and implement an earned value management system (EVM).
- Identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Conduct what-if and delay analyses.
- Serve as the primary communication link with clients regarding contracts and project progress.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 4+ years of construction planning and scheduling experience.
- Bachelor's degree in construction engineering, engineering, project management, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of construction and scheduling best practices.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 (resource and cost management) and Microsoft Project.
- Experience creating various reports for different audiences.
- Experience in client-facing roles.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical construction programs effectively.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Construction Management.
- Experience with Power BI, data centers, Earned Value Management, and certifications like PSP or PMI-SP.
- Active membership in PMI, AACEi, or similar organizations.
