We’re looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst in Dubai who will be responsible for providing strong financial reporting, business partnering, and analysis. This role will focus on big data, bringing Aggreko’s systems into the AI era, with an emphasis on automation and optimization of budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making processes for the Middle East business.

What You’ll Do
- Support the Finance Business Partner with financial support and analysis across territories.
- Assist in delivering month-end/year-end, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets, including preparing P&L and Balance Sheet forecasts, business performance dashboards, and reports using Power Query and Power BI.
- Identify efficiencies, improve existing financial processes and reports, and analyze key trends and risks.
- Monitor and control costs related to transactional business and high-volume projects such as Mobilisation/Demobilisation, Service Materials, and other indirect costs in the ME Business.
- Assist in implementing an enterprise-wide planning tool and system upgrades related to FP&A.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure financial analysis supports strategic decision-making and planning.
- Review and explain cost variances, working closely with the outsource provider to resolve issues and understand data sources.
- Utilize Aggreko's BI system for month-end analysis and provide insights into business performance to Finance Business Partners.
- Develop an understanding of business drivers for performance analytics.
- Prepare business presentation materials and support the finance team with standard and ad-hoc reports, including profitability and unit cost analysis.
- Support the FP&A Manager with group consolidation and analysis tasks.
- Assist finance partners with data gathering, validation, and model/report development for stakeholders.
- Identify recurring ad-hoc requests and work to incorporate them into standard reporting suites.
Skills and Experience
- Qualified finance professional with expertise in Power BI, Excel, and Power Query.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; MBA advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in finance or business analysis.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, and proficiency in Power BI.
- Proven experience in system automation and process improvement.
- Ability to analyze data critically and ensure accuracy.
- Experience with M3 Cloudsuite, Tagetik, Basware is beneficial.
