Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Lead to drive strategic IT initiatives, lead business partnering efforts, and oversee end-to-end solution delivery for Enabling Functions including finance, procurement, HR and Legal. This hybrid role is instrumental in cascading the digital strategy and roadmap, defining solution architecture, and supporting the deployment of digital solutions across end-to-end Order to Cash, Procure to Pay and Hire to Retire processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Establishing the contribution that technology can make to business objectives using a range of techniques such as eliciting and documenting requirements with stakeholders, conducting feasibility studies, producing business models, preparing business cases, usability requirements analysis and usability evaluation
- Identifying and obtaining agreement on the requirements / features which will be most beneficial to the business and documenting requirements in alignment with audit control requirements.
- Corporate Functions Lead: Functional IT responsibility and overall ownership for local / regional compliance and corporate driven projects (e.g. SAP Finance & Procurement and Success Factor enhancements, GDPR, corporate business model changes, contract management, local banking partner changes, Banking, Tax changes, Budget & Reporting requirements)
- Cross-Functional: Functional IT responsibility for Corporate aspects of Supply Chain and Marketing driven projects (for example lead for OTC, eInvoicing, EDI and HR system changes driven by a RTM project)
- Analysis and documentation of issues and requirements for SAP ECC6 and SuccessFactors change requests. Working closely with Process Leads, and Key Users to shape requirements and options.
- Overseeing implementation of solutions – checking against the initial requirements
- Identifying and raising issues impacting the execution of strategic / operational / project plans. This role will play a key role for the upcoming SAP HANA Project
- Orchestrating internal and/or external resources to drive delivery of changes to existing Corporate platforms, or for the identification, assessment, selection and deployment of new Corporate solutions and platforms
- Change Management – Drive change management, user adoption, and training initiatives to ensure successful rollout and acceptance of new digital tools and processes.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance – Ensure digital solutions meet corporate cybersecurity, risk, and compliance standards across finance, HR, legal convergence areas.
- Business Value Focus – Collaborate with Finance and Business teams to develop business cases for digital investments, tracking ROI and continuous value realization.
- Contribution to and landing of technology enabled optimisation project. Awareness of RPA, Mobile, user driven / self-service analytics tools, and collaboration solutions etc
Desired Candidate Profile
Role Qualifications
- Business-facing IT experience in a global environment, preferably with a degree in an IT-related discipline
- Minimum 8+ years of IT experience with strong SAP ERP exposure and project delivery.
- Understanding and practical application of project management and System Software Development lifecycle methodologies i.e. PRINCE2, Agile etc
- Strong understanding of the business processes for the areas of Finance (O2C), Treasury, HR (H2R), Legal and Procurement (P2P) and the associated system platforms that enable these processes
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional business and IT teams.
- Experience working with global IT vendors and partners.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of systems planning, development methodologies, and business process management.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with Generative AI (GenAI) and AI-driven solutions
- Expertise in business process automation and optimization.
- Proficient in digital tools, automation platforms, and analytics technologies.
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong people leadership and relationship management capabilities.
