Job Description: Roles and Responsibilities

1. Test Planning & Requirement Analysis
   Review and analyze functional and nonfunctional requirements.
   Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand project scope.
   Identify test scenarios based on requirements.
2. Test Case Design & Execution
   Create detailed, structured, and reusable test cases.
   Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
   Perform UI functional regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
   Validate cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
3. Defect Reporting & Tracking
   Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Trello, or Bugzilla.
   Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
   Verify bug fixes and perform retesting.
4. User Experience & Usability Testing
   Evaluate application usability from an end-user perspective. Provide feedback on UI/UX improvements.
5. Regression & Compatibility Testing
   Perform regression testing for new releases.
   Ensure compatibility across different browsers, devices, and OS versions.
6. API Testing & Database Testing (Basic Level)
   Test APIs using tools like Postman (if required).
   Validate backend data using SQL queries.
7. Collaboration & Communication
   Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
   Participate in Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
8. Test Documentation & Reporting
   Maintain test documentation including test cases, test reports, and defect logs.
   Provide test status updates to stakeholders.
9. Basic Security & Performance Testing (Optional)
   Identify security vulnerabilities and basic performance issues (if required).
