A leading hotel in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Hostess to create memorable dining experiences for guests. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and experience in luxury hospitality. Responsibilities include managing the host stand, ensuring dining area cleanliness, and collaborating with the service team. This role requires a proactive approach to guest needs and knowledge of food and beverage service.
The Saikind Hostess is the first interaction for guests in the Restaurant, and is the designer of memorable experiences. This role is dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests.
What you will do:
Welcome guests and provide exceptional service during their dining experience in collaboration with a team of servers
Manage the host stand, review the reservation book and make recommendations as to the setup of the table sections
Ensure cleanliness of each section of the dining rooms and make necessary improvements as well as check each table prior to opening to ensure its proper set
Develop a complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients and restaurant information
Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the F&B Outlet Manager, Director of Beverage, Asst. Director of F&B and Hotel Manager.
What you bring:
1 to 2 years previous experience as a Hostess in luxury bar.
College education or equivalent experience.
Previous employment experience in a similar position with other luxury Hotels will be an added advantage;
Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.
Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems.
Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
Requires a working knowledge of division operations as well as Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures. Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job.
Positive attitude with a generous and uplifting team approach.
Ability to proactively anticipate and prioritize the needs of the guest.
Energetic and professional approach to his/her craft.
