* Ensure correct synchronization with upstream cigarette maker (e.g., ITM Mark 9)
* Perform routine cleaning and visual inspections of sensors, glue units, and pack alignment systems
* Record shift output, batch codes, reject packs, and downtime
* Identify minor issues (misfeeds, foil jams, carton misalignment) and resolve on the spot
* Coordinate with QA for inline inspection and defect rejection criteria
* Maintain safe and clean working conditions around the machine
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements:
* Hands-on experience operating the HLP 250 cigarette packing machine is required
* Experience with other high-speed packing equipment is an advantage
* Minimum 1–2 years in a cigarette factory environment
* Familiarity with carton, overwrap, tax stamp, and tear tape handling
* Basic troubleshooting skills for common machine faults
* Ability to monitor pack quality, seal integrity, and visual presentation
