Overview of the role:

The Retail Sales Representative - Travel Retail is responsible for sales generation, delivering a positive customer experience, and performing operational duties as assigned by the store management team (e.g., housekeeping, visual presentation, etc.).

What you will do:

Description of Accountability:

1. Maintain a clean and organized environment, uphold store standards and cleanliness, and provide high levels of customer service both internally and externally. Be knowledgeable about product categories to assist and advise customers professionally.
2. Create a positive first impression through energetic attitude and adherence to dress code. Assist the Store Manager with daily store operations, including opening, closing, and security. Cover store management duties in the absence of the Store Manager if required.
3. Greet customers immediately upon entry with a friendly smile and genuine greeting. Train new staff on POS operation, handle customer issues at POS to ensure smooth service.
4. Provide current and relevant product information, ensure compliance with in-store pricing and ticketing procedures to prevent losses.
5. Offer quality service in fitting rooms, follow up with customers promptly, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and aim to increase sales.
6. Deliver efficient service at the cash wrap, promote gift cards, maintain cleanliness, and capture customer data.
7. Thank customers sincerely upon exit and invite them to return.

Miscellaneous Responsibilities

1. Participate in store meetings and related functions.
2. Maintain a positive attitude towards merchandise, brand, and company.
3. Participate in inventory counts.
4. Complete other duties assigned by management.
5. Meet or exceed weekly sales goals.
6. Adhere to work schedule, be punctual, flexible, and collaborate effectively with peers and management.
7. Follow company policies and procedures.
8. Perform housekeeping duties as required.

Required Skills for Success:

• Friendly and engaging personality, comfortable working with the public.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stand for at least 8 hours.
• Confident, helpful, polite, and physically fit.
• Experience in stock replenishment.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma (Bachelor's preferred).
