|About the role

The Technology Lead will oversee the technological strategy and execution for the open finance platform, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable solutions.

|What You’ll Do

• Define and manage the technical roadmap in alignment with the subsidiary’s strategic goals.
• Lead the development (by the subsidiary) and integration (by banks, insurers and fintechs) of APIs and ensure compliance with technical standards.
• Oversee the information security strategy to protect data and maintain trust.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive technological innovation.
• Manage the technology team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
• Present technical progress and challenges to the subsidiary’s leadership
• Supervise the Vendor Technical Manager (VTM) and ensure effective technical supplier management.

|Minimum Qualifications

• Strong background in software development, API integration, and information security
• Leadership experience in technology strategy and team management
• Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and translate technical language for non-technical audiences.
• Proficient in technical supplier management, with an emphasis on overseeing roles such as the Vendor Technical Manager to optimize vendor performance.
• Excellent written and oral English communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent Arabic speaker an advantage

|Technical and Behavioral Skills:

• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in software development, API integration, and information security. Understanding of current and emerging technology trends
• Strategic Technology Planning: Ability to define and manage a technology roadmap that supports the organization’s strategic goals.
• Leadership: Experience in leading technology teams, fostering innovation, and a culture of continuous learning and improvement
• Collaboration and Influence: Capability to work with cross-functional teams and to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to address technical challenges.
• Technical Supplier Management: Proficient in managing relationships with technology suppliers, ensuring they meet contractual obligations and performance metrics, ensuring continuity of service.
• Communication: Ability to articulate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
