Job Title: Project Manager

About the Client :

We are a leading model making company with a strong track record of delivering exceptional display models for some of the region's most prestigious projects. Our portfolio includes the stunning models for One Za'abeel, the Museum of the Future, and the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. With over 200 employees, we pride ourselves on our commitment to quality and our collaborative approach. We are currently expanding our project management team and seeking talented individuals to join us.

The Opportunity:

Are you an architect or interior designer with a passion for bringing designs to life in physical form? Do you excel at communication and project coordination? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Model Making Project Manager.

In this role, you will be the crucial link between our esteemed clients and our skilled execution team. Your architectural or interior design background will enable you to thoroughly understand design files and client requirements, ensuring the accurate and timely creation of high-quality model replicas. This is a management-focused position, requiring strong communication and organizational skills rather than hands-on design work.

Roles and responsibilities:

Project Planning: Responsible for preparing layouts, mood boards, developing project plans,

including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables. This involves

collaborating with clients, production team, and other stakeholders to understand their

requirements and establish project goals. Develop project schedules and ensure that they

are adhered to the deadlines. This involves setting project milestones, monitoring progress,

and addressing any schedule deviations to ensure timely project completion.

Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources effectively to ensure the smooth

execution of projects. This includes coordinating with the production team, ensuring

availability of materials and equipment, and assigning tasks to team members.

Budgeting and Cost Control: Accountable for creating and managing project budgets. This

involves in implementing cost control measures to reduce waste of materials.

Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing strategies to resolve. This

includes assessing project risks, developing contingency plans, and monitoring risks

throughout the project lifecycle.

Stakeholder Communication: As a project manager, must act as the primary point of contact

for all project-related communication. Need to maintain regular communication with clients,

production team, and other stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure

that everyone is aligned with project objectives.

Quality Assurance: Responsible for ensuring the quality of architectural models produced.

This involves implementing quality control measures, conducting inspections, and ensuring

that models meet the required standards and specifications.

Team Leadership: Managing and leading the project/production team, assigning tasks,

providing guidance and support, resolving conflicts, and motivating team members to

achieve project goals.

Documentation and Reporting: Need to maintain accurate project documentation, including

progress reports, meeting minutes, and change requests. These documents provide a

record of project activities and serve as a reference for future projects.

Requirements:

Education – B. Sc Architect

Experience – 3-5 years, working in Model Making industry is a plus and given first

preference.

Candidate must be in U.A.E and ready to join immediately will be given first preference.

* Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3ds Max is advantageous.

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

* Strong organizational and project management abilities.

* Prior experience in model making project management is highly desirable, but not mandatory.

* Experience working in the UAE model making industry is a significant plus.
