A leading company in the hospitality sector is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee security operations, train staff, and ensure safety protocols are followed. The ideal candidate will have a university degree and experience in a similar role within a five-star hotel, preferably in the UAE.

The Security Supervisor is responsible for keeping the Assistant Security Manager/Director of Security informed of all security-related matters. Depending on the distribution of fire and security responsibilities, coordinates with the Director of Engineering on these matters.
They liaise with management personnel and all employees to assist with security issues and loss prevention.
They coordinate with local law enforcement and fire & safety officials.
Proper grooming and professional appearance are required at all times.
Attend scheduled training sessions to stay updated on security procedures.
Show full cooperation and respect within the team and other departments.
Maintain awareness of daily activities and possess product knowledge of all hotel facilities.
Train security staff on resort regulations, fire prevention, safety procedures, basic firefighting, lifesaving techniques, crime scene preservation, actions and duties during crises, report writing, public relations, and psychology.
Supervise the daily processing and distribution of security reports to management.
Keep all records and reports concerning security matters confidential.
Be fully trained and prepared for emergency situations according to established procedures.
Continuously evaluate potential security threats.
Coordinate with the engineering department to conduct regular preventive maintenance of safety equipment.
Supervise that all staff use proximity cards at security posts, especially at staff entrances.
Control access of contractors, visitors, and suppliers, issuing and monitoring visitor passes.
Regularly monitor all security posts, including CCTV operations.
Ensure all staff are familiar with emergency procedures and prepared for any incident.
Conduct regular skills and technical training sessions.
Review daily security logs and duty manager reports, taking corrective actions as needed.
Maintain a monthly overview of security staff leave balances.
Familiarize with all relevant company documentation and operational standards manuals.
Update the emergency manual with appropriate procedures and forms, in consultation with the Security Manager.
Train staff regularly through live fire drills and skills development sessions.
University degree in any field. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within a five-star hotel, preferably in the UAE. Strong team management skills, computer literacy, and excellent communication skills.
