Duties & Responsibilities
- Receives handover from the Security Supervisor on the previous shift and follows up with any pending items.
- Must inform, especially in writing, the Hotel Manager or her delegate, as well as fellow Security Supervisors, about any incidents that occurred or were heard of during his shift.
- Responsible for monitoring that Security Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Risk Assessments are followed during his shift. Any breach should be reported to the Hotel Manager.
- Responsible for receiving feedback from colleagues, guests, and suppliers regarding Security SOPs and Risk Assessments.
- Ensure that security officers are briefed at the start and end of their shift and that they have completed their duties as per the checklist for their allocation.
- Ensure that security officer trainings are completed in a timely manner, as directed by the Hotel Manager or the most senior Security Supervisor.
- Ensure security officers follow hotel grooming standards and Hospitality/Company guidelines during their shift.
- Conduct at least one walkthrough of the hotel per shift, including checking safety & security equipment, such as safes. Any equipment malfunctions should be reported to the most senior Security Supervisor.
- Assist colleagues with any safety & security issues during the shift.
- Assist with visits from local authorities, such as police, ambulance, DTCM, etc.
- Follow UAE requirements pertaining to Lost & Found property.
- Assist the Hotel Manager and Assistant HR Manager with administrative tasks related to the Safety & Security department.
- Order and repair items related to the daily management of the Security Office/CCTV room.
