Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Operations Assistant to join our team and assist with operational matters related to vessel handling. The ideal candidate will ensure the timely and professional completion of services while maintaining accurate records and invoices.

Duties Will Include
  1. Assist in operational matters related to vessel handling to ensure timely and professional completion of services.
  2. Create service records in the operational system to ensure all services rendered are accurately recorded for invoicing purposes.
  3. Ensure supplier invoices related to the jobs are received in the supplier invoice management system and liaise with suppliers for any invoicing requirements.
  4. Support the Operations team with vessel visits or attendance as needed.
  5. Assist with customer queries and requirements regarding services rendered.
  6. Help in promptly passing operationally closed job files on for invoicing.
  7. Ensure on-time renewal of company-provided government IDs.
  8. Ensure the availability and proper use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) as required.
Job Requirements
  1. Educational Qualification: Minimum graduation with a university degree or equivalent.
  2. Professional Qualification: Knowledge of location and traffic rules; port and customs rules and regulations.
  3. Specialist Knowledge: Proactive, well-dressed, and mannered.
  4. Communication / Language: Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  5. Computer Aptitude: Good knowledge of computer and phone usage.
  6. Experience: Over 1 year of experience in a similar field. Freshers may also be considered based on academics, personality, and aptitude, with plans to develop their skills and competencies.
