About the role:

The Senior Manager Capital Investment Planning will lead the strategic planning, economic & feasibility studies, stakeholder engagement and management of capital investments within the Airports Planning Department at Abu Dhabi Airports. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all capital projects align with the organization's long-term objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices and are economically and financially feasible. The incumbent will oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive capital improvement programs, manage financial planning for large-scale infrastructure projects, and ensure optimal utilization of resources to enhance airport operations and passenger experience.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field/ master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CFA) are preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in capital investment planning, project management, or financial management within the aviation industry or a related sector
• Strong understanding of capital project financing, budgeting, and financial analysis. Proficiency in project management software and financial modelling tools.
• In-depth knowledge of aviation industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to capital project development and implementation.
• In-depth knowledge of the UAE real estate market and real estate development industry.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
• Proven leadership and team management skills, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams.
