Job summary

Air Arabia is seeking skilled technicians for various aircraft maintenance roles during a recruitment drive in Sharjah. Candidates should have relevant experience and licenses, particularly with Airbus A320. Successful applicants will be invited to an assessment in Jordan.

Qualifications

General Responsibilities

Operational Excellence

  • Review assigned task cards with the Maintenance Manager to understand work scope, priorities, documentation, and cautions before starting work.
  • Prepare and perform scheduled aircraft maintenance according to task cards, ensuring proper documentation, parts, tools, and GSE are used.
  • Conduct aircraft tests and inspections to identify and record defects or damages following approved procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify defects as per Aircraft Maintenance Manuals and Engineering Department instructions.
  • Sign off on maintenance tasks within own authority, verifying completion to standard.
  • Coordinate with other Engineers and Technicians to ensure proper communication, continuity, and handover of work.
Safety

  • Ensure all safety precautions are followed during maintenance tasks.
  • Use proper GSE and protective equipment to prevent injury.
  • Manage human factors to maintain critical task continuity, including proper handovers.
Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience on Airbus A320 family in Base and Line Maintenance.
  • Possession of an EASA Part 66 or GCAA CAR 66 B1/B2 License and company approvals for Airbus A320.
  • Ability to obtain an unrestricted GCAA CAR 66 B1 Category License.
  • In-depth aircraft systems maintenance knowledge.
  • Proficiency in English for technical communication.
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Ability to obtain a UAE driving license.
