Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Oil and Gas Rig Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rig maintenance and repair, with a focus on safety and efficiency. Responsibilities include ensuring proper functioning of rig equipment and machinery, performing regular maintenance, and repairs as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on rig equipment and machinery, including engines, pumps, generators, and drilling equipment.
2. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, developing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
3. Perform preventive maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation of all rig equipment.
4. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs, including parts used and hours worked.
5. Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
6. Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving measures.
7. Stay updated with industry developments and rig technology advancements to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an oil and gas rig mechanic.
• Extensive knowledge of rig equipment and machinery.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work on a rotational schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Valid UAE driving license preferred.
