Consultant Obstetrics Gynecology Laparoscopic Surgeon

Responsibilities:
- Maintain an active privilege per the specialty, renewable every 2 years.
- Comply with rules, regulations, and procedures of practicing the profession as per grade and specialty.
- Provide care for women during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods.
- Monitor patient conditions, reevaluate treatments, and perform necessary surgical procedures such as Cesarean sections.
- Explain procedures, discuss test results, and maintain detailed patient records.
- Provide prenatal care, dietary tips, and conduct regular examinations for pregnant women.
- Suggest alternative treatments if no health progress is observed.
- Perform surgeries for chronic and reproductive disorders; provide health tips for babies.
- Prescribe treatments with clear, legible instructions and inform patients about treatment importance and side effects.
- Monitor complications, cooperate with other physicians, and provide treatment updates as requested.
- Interview new patients, record medical histories, and perform well-woman exams including Pap smears and pelvic/breast exams.
- Order and analyze diagnostic tests, biopsies, scans, etc., to diagnose issues.
- Supervise medical staff and treat diseases/injuries related to women’s reproductive organs.
- Deliver babies, perform labor induction, C-sections, and emergency surgeries as needed.
- Oversee administration of medications during childbirth and conduct screenings for cervical cancer.
- Diagnose diseases accurately, utilize advanced treatment methods, and handle critical/uncritical cases.
- Maintain confidence, make appropriate treatment decisions, and foster good patient relationships.
- Demonstrate adaptability to varied patient ages, maturity, accountability, and good judgment.
- Promote confidentiality, create a positive atmosphere, and work collaboratively with staff.
- Express effectively in verbal, written, and non-verbal communication; demonstrate computer literacy.
- Delegate tasks effectively, adhere to safety policies, and continuously improve service quality.
Qualifications:
- MBBS or MBChB or equivalent from an accredited university.
- Specialty in Obstetrics & Gynecology from a recognized Tier 1 or Tier 2 Board.
- Expertise in laparoscopic surgeries with a strong surgical logbook.
- Active license in home country and HAAD license.
- Minimum 5 years clinical experience in a hospital, with at least 1 year supervisory experience.
- Fluency in English; Arabic is mandatory.
