Job description

We have an urgent requirement for a Senior Product Owner - Digital Solutions in the digital banking domain for one of our banking clients in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Requirements:

  • Deep experience in digital product development and marketing, ideally in a digital banking environment—Must
  • Experience in Digital Banking—Must
  • Certification such as Certified Product Owner, PMP, or relevant certifications—Must

Role Purpose:

The Product Owner will partner with the Digital leadership team to develop effective product strategies, visions, and execution plans. The role involves shaping and delivering digital solutions to transform customer experiences, defining measurable objectives to improve market share, profitability, and customer satisfaction through customer-centered digital experiences.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Lead Product Managers and cross-functional teams in designing and delivering digital solutions that address business problems and opportunities, ensuring creativity and relevance.
  2. Define the product portfolio, make major product decisions, develop product roadmaps, and collaborate with the Digital Factory team to set priorities.
  3. Lead innovation in products, working with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful digital solutions.
  4. Present product visions and proposals to leadership, outlining how new opportunities will promote growth and profitability in line with strategic goals.
  5. Work with partners organization-wide, leading product teams focused on innovation, growth, and success.
  6. Nurture talent and build relationships with potential candidates for current and future roles.

Technical Skills / Knowledge:

  • Extensive experience in digital product development and marketing within digital banking.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and data-driven decision-making abilities.
  • Understanding of product metrics and decision-making based on data.
  • Experience in designing and launching consumer products and enabling business capabilities through technology.
  • Experience managing live products.
  • Self-motivated entrepreneurial mindset, team player, professional presence.
  • Leadership and influence skills at all organizational levels.

Previous Experience:

  • 5-7 years of experience, with 5+ years in product development and marketing.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience working within multi-channel/multi-region brands.
  • Knowledge of Lean and Agile software development processes.
