As the Vertical Sales Expert Maritime, you will be responsible for growing our business in the Maritime industry by engaging with ship owner companies (primarily commercial vessels) and shipyards in the Middle East region, as well as global industry players. Your role involves direct customer contact, building and maintaining strong relationships with both external customers and internal stakeholders within Siemens Energy. You will present our solutions and products to new and existing customers within your client portfolio.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  1. You will contribute to the development of our Maritime business and participate in creating innovative system solutions based on Siemens Energy’s extensive product and system engineering portfolio. This includes challenging existing solutions by asking questions and contributing to making ships environmentally friendly and profitable.
  2. You will prioritize customer needs, identify effective solution options, and apply your analytical and strategic skills to deliver reliable quality at all stages.
  3. You will engage directly with customers early in the process, hold continuous technical discussions, and position Siemens Energy technology and solutions in upcoming projects to grow the sales pipeline.
What You Bring
  1. Higher education in electrical engineering or automation, preferably with a focus on marine and offshore expertise.
  2. Knowledge of ship technology and ship owners’ operating models.
  3. At least 7 years of practical industry experience in selling system solutions for the Maritime industry and managing customer relationships.
  4. Proficiency in both spoken and written English.
