As a Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing services to eligible staff members and their dependants. The role emphasizes routine health surveillance, pre-employment medical examinations, effective management of chronic conditions, and health promotion activities. The nurse will collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to address healthcare needs, ensure staff meet fitness standards, and appropriately refer patients for further evaluation. Additionally, the nurse must be prepared to respond to medical emergencies, providing immediate care and coordinating with emergency services to ensure safety and well-being.

In This Role, You Will

1. Conduct pre-employment and periodic health evaluations for aviation and engineering personnel, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
2. Work closely with management, safety officers, and healthcare professionals to address health concerns and promote a safe work environment.
3. Maintain accurate records of assessments and outcomes in line with organizational policies.
4. Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed, and monitor patient responses.
5. Provide rapid assessment and intervention during medical emergencies or trauma situations.
6. Collaborate with emergency response teams to deliver nursing care prior to transfer for advanced treatment.
7. Conduct health assessments, administer vaccinations, and manage chronic conditions.
8. Perform assessments, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and coordinate care in emergency and routine contexts.
9. Ensure accurate documentation of patient care activities.
10. Work alongside healthcare professionals and emergency services for coordinated responses.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or diploma in Nursing with a minimum of 5+ years of experience, including at least 2 years in aviation medicine, occupational health, emergency nursing, or primary health care.
• Certification in ACLS is desirable.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of first response procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of health promotion and education for diverse populations.
