Job description

We are seeking a QA/QC Manager to lead and oversee Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) processes within our engineering and manufacturing operations. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality standards, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and customer expectations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing quality management, a deep understanding of ISO 9001 or AS 9100 standards, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Management & Compliance

  • Develop and implement the company's Quality Management System (QMS) and Quality Policies/Procedures.
  • Create and manage Control Plans to maintain high-quality standards across all engineering design and manufacturing projects.
  • Ensure all products meet regulatory, customer, and internal quality standards through comprehensive analysis and qualification processes.

Quality Assurance & Control

  • Design and implement quality control procedures to ensure that final products meet all required specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify defects, non-compliance, and areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with production teams to analyze and improve current processes and procedures through continuous improvement methodologies.

Process Improvement & Team Collaboration

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and developing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to implement solutions that enhance overall product quality.
  • Ensure all employees are properly trained and aware of quality procedures and policies.

Audit & Customer Relations

  • Manage and coordinate regulatory and customer audits, ensuring all documentation and processes are in compliance with industry requirements.
  • Handle quality concerns or complaints from customers, providing technical support and solutions.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related field (preferred).

Experience:

  • Proven experience in manufacturing quality management, preferably in aerospace, automotive, or high-tech industries.
  • Strong background in quality assurance, quality control, and process improvement.

Skills & Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001 or AS 9100 standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address quality issues.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to work independently and manage quality processes with limited supervision.
  • Experience in leading and implementing QMS improvements in a manufacturing environment.
