We are looking for an experienced Marketplace Operations Assistant Manager to manage and optimize day-to-day operations across multiple online stores. This role involves close coordination with third-party partners and a strong focus on inventory management, ensuring that par stock levels are maintained to avoid overstocking or stockouts across all platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- MutiStore Management: Oversee the operations of multiple online stores on platforms such as Talabat, Careem, Noon, etc.
- Third Party Coordination: Work closely with logistics providers, fulfillment centers, and external vendors to ensure smooth order processing, delivery, and returns.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels across all stores, maintain accurate inventory data, and ensure par stock levels are maintained at all times.
- Replenishment Planning: Forecast demand and coordinate timely restocking with suppliers and warehouses to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
- Listing & Catalog Management: Ensure that all product listings are accurate, updated, and optimized for each marketplace.
- Order Fulfilment Oversight: Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer orders in coordination with relevant teams.
- Reporting & Analysis: Generate and analyze regular reports on sales, inventory turnover, stock coverage, and order fulfillment KPIs.
- Operational Compliance: Ensure adherence to marketplace policies, shipping SLAs, and quality standards.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities for automation and operational efficiency improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in marketplace or e-commerce platforms.
- Proven experience managing multiple stores across platforms.
- Strong inventory management skills with experience in par stock planning and replenishment.
- Proficient in using marketplace dashboards, inventory management systems, and Excel/Google Sheets.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with marketplace platforms.
- Knowledge of demand planning and forecasting.
- Familiarity with e-commerce automation tools.
- Background in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
