A Product Owner creates a product roadmap and defines the strategic vision for their team, aligned with the overall company vision. They possess a deep understanding of the target market and industry, building close relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the team’s efforts support the broader strategy.
The Product Owner manages dependencies across teams, identifies and builds strategic partnerships, and works closely within their team to translate business value and user feedback into new developments. They are accountable for specific KPIs related to their product area.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's/Master’s in engineering or relevant business field.
Minimum Experience: 7 years total, with at least 4 in the metal, mining, or energy industries; experience leading Agile projects as a Product Owner and Scrum Master; formal project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile).
Proficiency in project management, Agile practices, technical engineering standards, analytics setup, and UX/UI collaboration. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills are essential. Experience with data transformation projects, third-party management, and relevant technology stacks (Azure, Power BI, etc.) is preferred.
Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies, managing backlogs, and team metrics. Strong leadership, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills. A mindset open to innovation, change, and continuous learning, fostering a culture of transparency and trust.
