Job description

This role exists to drive business growth by developing opportunities with both existing and new customers. The primary focus is on strengthening customer relationships, maximizing locally decided and billed business, and positioning Kuehne+Nagel for success in national, regional, and global RFQs, tenders, and bids. Additionally, the role involves prioritizing key national accounts where Kuehne+Nagel can secure locally billed business, supporting prepaid traffic operations, and overseeing tender documentation, rate communication, and RFQ responses.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Actively maintain and develop own client portfolio and sell Kuehne+Nagel’s services across business units.
  2. Maintain and develop close business relationships with clients and important stakeholders across industries.
  3. Develop existing and future customer base, delivering business growth with both current and new Key Account clients.
  4. Prepare and review the Key Account Plan in line with the company's strategic directions and budget plan.
  5. Assist in the annual preparation of tender documents for managed companies and participate in escalation management.
  6. Coordinate client lifecycle activities such as business development, implementation, reviews, and results.
  7. Ensure delivery of high-quality services to clients in cooperation with internal stakeholders.
  8. Coordinate with sales and business units on plans to increase Kuehne+Nagel's market share.
Your Skills and Experiences
  1. Proven experience in Sales, Key Account Management, Business Development, or similar, especially within the Abu Dhabi market.
  2. Deep understanding of the logistics business environment.
  3. Customer-focused with the ability to build partnerships at senior levels.
  4. Ability to prioritize and organize work while managing multiple projects.
  5. Innovative mindset with adaptability to new technologies and skills development.
  6. Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
