Job Description - Project Control Manager (RUW007J):

Responsibilities:
  1. Report to the Project Manager and work under their direction.
  2. Manage the project control resources required to deliver a cross-functional engineering project.
  3. Ensure that project controls processes are consistently applied across the project.
  4. Support the project manager with progress reporting, including schedule updates, forecast to complete, variance identification, and opportunities for improvement.
  5. Manage the PMC cost engineers and planners.
  6. Coordinate, monitor, and oversee activities from the Quantity Surveying team within the EPC contractors team.
  7. Coordinate, monitor, and oversee the PMC team, Licensors, EPC Contractor, Owner Operation / Site Interface Focal Person for baseline schedule development, performance status and reporting, baseline change control, risk management, earned value management guidance and tools.
  8. Support the PMC team, Licensors, EPC Contractor, Owner Operation / Site Interface Focal Person on program integration, governance, formats, plan optimization, and project controls best practices.
  9. Support and advise on the definition of Project Controls and Earned Value Management policies, procedures, and standards required to deliver projects.
  10. Ensure EPC Contractor’s and Licensors' compliance with contractual obligations regarding schedule and cost.
  11. Coordinate, monitor, and oversee the baseline schedule development, performance status and reporting, baseline change control, risk management, earned value management guidance and tools.
  12. Ensure compliance with effective planning techniques and controls.
  13. Manage governance to ensure robust cost and schedule performance for the scope of work across the project.
  14. Support program integration, governance, formats, plan optimization, and project controls best practices.
  15. Develop integrated master schedules in Primavera and/or Microsoft Project, reflecting all interface milestones and activity durations from multiple contractors’ schedules, and incorporate changes into the master schedule.
  16. Ensure EPC Contractor’s compliance with contractual obligations regarding schedule and cost.
  17. Ensure the project controls team produces weekly/monthly reports aligned with project and owner reporting calendars, detailing progress, actuals, forecasts, and variance explanations.
Minimum Qualifications:

B.S. or equivalent degree in Engineering from an accredited university, with extensive knowledge of PMC workflows, significant engineering experience in large O&G projects in their specialty, and at least five (5) years in a similar position within an engineering organization.
