Job description

Purpose of the Job:

To lead and develop the risk management, business continuity, and emergency management system in the Department, and ensure its alignment with approved policies and standards. This includes overseeing the implementation of fraud and corruption control plans, promoting institutional awareness, and building comprehensive readiness to face risks.

About the Role:

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Emirati professional to lead our efforts in enterprise risk, fraud and corruption control, business continuity, and emergency management. This leadership role is essential in ensuring the organization's resilience, integrity, and alignment with national priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and enhancement of risk management, fraud and corruption control, business continuity, and emergency response frameworks.
  • Oversee the implementation of operational and readiness plans aligned with regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Maintain and update risk and fraud registers, ensuring effective treatment plans and mitigation strategies.
  • Promote a culture of integrity and risk awareness through training, workshops, and communication initiatives.
  • Align divisional plans with corporate strategy, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage budgets, optimize resources, and ensure compliance with governance and financial protocols.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a high-performance culture and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and achievement of strategic goals.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven leadership in enterprise risk, fraud prevention, and emergency management.
  • Strong strategic planning, performance management, project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a master's degree preferred.
  • Nine (9) years of experience in a similar role.
