Job Description

Sulzer is a leading engineering company with a proud heritage of innovation. We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join our CT_Clean Fuels & Chemicals Licensing team in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and expanding our Process Solution footprint in the Middle East market, focusing on equipment in the chemical separations and R&P segments.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Pipeline Management: Opportunity mapping, lead generation, and pipeline monitoring.
  2. Customer Management: Building long-term relationships and understanding customer needs.
  3. Account Management: Developing key customer plans and collaborating across business units.
  4. Contractual Management: Leading negotiations and managing contracts.
  5. Business Strategy: Collaborating with leadership to strategize and position Sulzer's offerings.
  6. CRM Management: Updating CRM with opportunities and forecasts.
  7. Breakthrough Initiatives: Promoting new offerings in assigned territories.
  8. Proposal Management: Supporting opportunity development and client requirements.
  9. Cross-Function Selling: Developing opportunities across business units.
  10. Contractor Management: Building relationships with third-party contractors and consultants.
  11. Report Management: Preparing and submitting activity reports.
  12. Professional Networking: Building industry relationships.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Applications/Process Engineering or sales of related services and equipment.
  • Experience in the Middle East market is preferred.
  • Technical understanding of customer requirements.
  • Experience in industries such as specialty chemicals, refining, petrochemicals, bio-renewables, or polymers.
  • Proposal writing and business case evaluation skills.
  • Proficiency with computers, including CRM software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Process technology experience is a plus.
  • Experience working with multicultural teams.
  • Understanding of key financial parameters of projects.
