Located in the exclusive area of Palm Jumeirah, the hotel is part of the Royal Hideaway brand, offering luxury in each of its 279 rooms and suites, as well as 285 apartments.

Next to a magnificent private beach, the hotel features exclusive services, including impressive restaurants where guests can enjoy extraordinary dishes and authentic flavors, from the award-winning Khyber restaurant to the iconic Dukes Bar. This 5-star hotel includes 7 meeting rooms and spaces for weddings. It is conveniently located—only a 10-minute drive to Dubai and Nakheel Mall and 20 minutes by car to Dubai International Airport (DXB), among other places of interest.

We are currently looking for a Waiter/Waitress.

The main objectives of the associate are to ensure consistent, high-quality service to all guests, assist the manager in achieving high guest satisfaction scores, recognize repeat guests, and meet all reasonable guest needs.

This position requires flexibility regarding working hours and shift patterns, which may vary according to business demands.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Greet guests and guide them to their tables.
2. Present the menu and provide detailed information about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies when asked.
3. Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses.
4. Inform guests about the day’s specials.
5. Recommend menu items upon request.
6. Upsell additional products when appropriate.
7. Take accurate food and drinks orders using POS software, order slips, or memorization.
8. Serve food and drinks orders.
9. Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation, reporting any issues.
10. Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area.
11. Deliver checks and collect payments.
12. Follow all relevant health department regulations.
13. Provide excellent customer service to guests.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a large hotel with at least 500 keys in a luxury property is required.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Waiter/Waitress.
• Active listening and effective communication skills.
• Flexibility to work in shifts.
• High school diploma; food safety training is a plus.
• Team spirit.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
