Your role at Clorox :

Responsible for driving sales performance in assigned territories. Develops sales plans with distributors to achieve aligned financial and brand objectives.

In this role, you will :
Sales Administration
  • Provides accurate inputs to financial and demand forecasts promptly, leveraging KPIs and analytics for accuracy.
  • Manages trade funds according to policies, ensuring proper spending, accounting, and clearance. Responsible for territory funding plans, ROI, and continuous optimization.
Territory Sales Management & Distributor Management
  • Establishes a coverage strategy supporting growth in selected categories and channels, aligning with Clorox priorities.
  • Aligns with distributors on services, KPIs, and joint objectives to meet financial targets; manages contract negotiations and documentation.
  • Plans and executes 12–36-month sales strategies per region or territory, managing distributor performance and budgets.
  • Monitors KPIs, reports, analyzes performance, develops action plans, and manages risks.
  • Coordinates with teams to enhance cross-functional penetration and develops strategic accounts and JBPs, attending key customer calls.
  • Follows up on operational matters with distributors, ensuring timely resolution of orders, payments, and inventory.
  • Implements category plans, tools, and initiatives like distribution drives, innovation, shelving, or promotional events.
What we look for :
Years and Type of Experience :

Required : Candidates with a bachelor’s degree and 7-10 years of sales experience, including at least 5 years managing sales through distributors, with a proven record in business expansion, negotiation, and customer relationship management.

Preferred : Experience managing center store categories across multiple trade classes.

Education Level / Degree :

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Technical Skills :
  • Sales fundamentals: call planning, selling AMPS, objection handling.
  • Distributor management and managing through others.
  • Persuasive selling, joint business planning, analytic insights, negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
Managerial Skills and Abilities :
  • Results-oriented with KPI focus.
  • Influence and leadership skills to engage others.
  • Curiosity and strong analytical skills.
