About the Client

Our client is a well-established, award-winning integrated marketing agency based in Dubai, known for delivering impactful campaigns across advertising, digital, social, branding, and experiential marketing. With a strong portfolio of regional and global clients, they are looking to appoint a dynamic General Manager to lead the agency’s operations and drive its strategic growth.

Role Overview

The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the agency’s day-to-day operations, managing client relationships, driving new business opportunities, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality creative and strategic output. This is a senior leadership role that requires a commercially minded and culturally attuned individual with deep agency-side experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall operations of the agency, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and high-performance output.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and strengthening existing client relationships.
  • Manage and mentor cross-functional teams across client servicing, creative, digital, and strategy.
  • Partner with senior clients to understand their marketing challenges and deliver strategic solutions.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to develop and implement business plans, budgets, and KPIs.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative company culture that attracts and retains top talent.
  • Oversee P&L management, resource planning, and operational processes.
  • Represent the agency in industry events, networking forums, and key client meetings.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in integrated marketing or advertising agencies, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of agency growth, team leadership, and high-level client engagement.
  • Strong understanding of the MENA marketing landscape, with experience working in the UAE.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically while staying hands-on with operations.
  • Commercially driven with strong financial acumen (P&L experience essential).
