What You Will Be Doing

1. Developing AI-driven financial processes to eliminate manual tasks in billing, reporting, compliance, and controls.
2. Utilizing automation and LLM tools to replace human error in systems like NetSuite and Ramp.
3. Ensuring seamless operation of mission-critical processes such as tuition payments, ESA reimbursements, and tax documentation.
4. Creating scalable, audit-ready financial and reporting systems for diverse education business lines.
5. Re-engineering finance infrastructure to support billion-dollar business units without increasing headcount.

What You Won’t Be Doing

1. Overseeing a large finance team; this role focuses on systems, not people management.
2. Managing month-end close cycles or manually approving transactions.
3. Settling for existing ERP workflows; actively seeking and eliminating inefficiencies.
4. Delegating tasks; leading by example and tackling challenges directly.
5. Working in a static environment; this role is about rapid scaling, not maintaining the status quo.

Global Finance Director Key Responsibilities

Develop a fully autonomous, AI-native finance system that powers multiple billion-dollar education ventures with zero manual intervention.

Basic Requirements

• CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or MBA
• Experience in a finance or accounting role at a $100M+ business
• Either: 5+ years as an auditor at a top 10 global firm, or audited 5+ times by one
• Professional experience with enterprise ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP)
• Experience using generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) professionally
• Must be located within UTC-8 to UTC+3 time zones

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Familiarity with K-12 education models in the U.S. (private, charter, ESA programs)
• Experience building finance automation or AI-driven workflows from scratch
• Previous exposure to finance operations in multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction businesses

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours/week), long-term position. The role is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
