About the Job

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Commercial Support Manager to join our team, serving as a vital link between our Commercial and Business Support teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing support to the Commercial department and acting as an interface with internal teams (BDD, Operations, Marine Accounting, Vetting, CP desk).
  • Ensuring accurate data quality and processing timely system entries of commercial fixtures to enhance efficiency.
  • Validating recaps for correct entity, counterparty details, commercial terms, technical details, vetting reports, etc.
  • Communicating with Chartering teams, brokers, and clients to complete recaps and resolve missing or incorrect data.
  • Submitting final recaps to BDD for further processing.
  • Identifying recurring process issues and collaborating with the Tech team to propose improvements.
  • Managing vessel nominations and substitutions.
  • Overseeing bunker hedge processes and supporting contract execution, including freight recalculations.
  • Contributing to the optimization of procedures for enhanced operational efficiency.

Your Profile:

  • Shipping background (operational or administrative).
  • Excellent written and strong verbal communication skills in English.
  • Detail-oriented with strong data accuracy and time management skills.
  • Outgoing, proactive, solution-oriented, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Familiarity with systems like Veson, Outlook, Microsoft 365, and Sedna is advantageous.
