Job Description

As a Sales Executive, you will achieve the assigned portfolio's revenue targets while supporting the overall country plan and commercial goals by ensuring the market position of the line of business is maintained. Your responsibilities include sourcing new business, maintaining existing accounts, and planning, managing, and implementing sales and marketing activities within the designated portfolio of Corporate and Travel Agencies.

In this role, you will:
  1. Plan
    • Recommend and develop promotional plans focused on meeting revenue targets within your account portfolio.
    • Participate in planning sessions, providing feedback and insights on customer trends to identify opportunities and challenges, ensuring product range, pricing, promotion, and sales strategies are market-appropriate.
  2. Deploy
    • Review and monitor sales strategies in your territory, offering recommendations to ensure competitiveness and market leadership.
    • Coordinate the distribution of marketing and promotional materials.
  3. Lead
    • Collaborate with supporting sales teams and business units to maximize business opportunities.
    • Gather and analyze market intelligence and competitor data to refine sales and business strategies.
  4. Execute
    • Achieve or exceed revenue and passenger targets within your assigned area to support business growth.
    • Implement and monitor incentive programs within guidelines to meet revenue goals.
    • Prepare regular sales and financial reports with insights and recommendations for management.
Qualifications

To be considered, you must meet the following requirements:

  • At least 5+ years of experience in Commercial/Sales, with 12 years of schooling or equivalent.
  • Experience in the Travel or Airline industry, including outdoor sales and marketing.
  • Knowledge of travel trade distribution, with familiarity in GDS systems like Sabre (advantageous).
  • Strong customer service, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Adaptability and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Valid UAE Driver’s License.
  • Willingness to work after hours and weekends as needed.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
