Dubai Holding is seeking a Financial Analyst to support our Financial Planning, Analysis & Treasury department. The role involves preparing financial reports, analyzing variances, and working with various departments to ensure data accuracy. Job Purpose:
The job holder will be responsible to support the Financial Planning, Analysis & Treasury department and team and ensure that Company’s internal reporting requirements are met on timely basis with complete, relevant and accurate information.
Key job responsibilities:
• Support the section head in the preparation of comprehensive monthly OPEX reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to reporting standards by collaborating with relevant departments to gather OPEX data and financial information.
• Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results with budgeted and forecasted figures
• Work on budget models and ensure data accuracy and reasonableness of budget assumptions by ensuring that data is uploaded to Business Planning template in Hyperion Planning system (EPBCS) and updated as required.
• Support Line Manager in updating Budgetary, MIS and Statutory reporting policies, process, procedures, forms and templates that ensure adequate Budgetary controls and MIS/Statutory reporting structure for overall company operations that are aligned to Dubai Holding standards and thereby ensuring the cost advantage in all its resource utilization and financial activities.
• Prepare quarterly project dashboards showing cost and sales status, Financial forecast to determine the course of entity/departments over a period of time that extends into future business periods as a proactive approach to budgeting in order to support the department budget for daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly allocations and needs.
• Assist Line Manager in casting, cross casting and formatting of internal and DH related deliverables and data analysis and compilation for Ad-hoc reports (internal and DH related).
• Complete data input for project actualization to finalize reports in a timely and efficient manner. Assist in collections reporting as needed.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
• Assist with financial audits and coordinate with auditors as needed.
• Keep updated of industry trends that may impact the company's financial health and strategic direction
