Bartender

To provide quality food and beverage service that is always consistent. Provide friendly, professional, and efficient bar service ensuring maximum guest satisfaction in a manner consistent with F&B standards. Responsible for verifying age requirements, knowing alcohol pairing and tastes, recipe knowledge of traditional and classy drinks, processing payments, managing inventory and cleaning bar supplies.

1. Ensures that all colleagues activities adhere to and support the Jumeirah Quality Standards.
2. Provides a link between kitchen and service areas.
3. Provides table and or counter service of alcoholic / non-alcoholic beverages.
4. Knowledgeable in food and beverage service standards.
5. Up selling skills.
6. Appropriate customer service skills in a 5-star property.
7. Knowledgeable on hygiene issues.
8. Capable to conduct beverage inventories.
9. High awareness on maintaining 5-star standards.
10. Any other duties such as working in different departments as may reasonably be requested by the management team including assistance for large events or hotel functions.

1. Minimum 2 years in similar position and style of property.
2. Worked in a 5-star wine bar in Dubai.
3. Minimum 3-6 years similar position in leading teams, position at same level in same style of property.
4. Worked in customer service operations of the same calibre.

1. University Degree preferably in hospitality management.
2. 2-3 years in a Food and Beverage Service outlet in a 5-star property.
