Finance Manager

We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the company's financial operations and contribute to long-term business growth. The role involves budgeting, financial analysis, reporting, and providing strategic recommendations to senior management. The Finance Manager will play a key role in enhancing financial performance and supporting effective business decisions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and manage the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with governance practices and group policies.
  2. Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards, including tax obligations.
  3. Review and update financial workflows.
  4. Liaise with auditors for monitoring and auditing company finances.
  5. Develop and implement financial strategies to improve profitability and growth.
  6. Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and statements to provide insights into the company's financial status and strategies.
  7. Review all financial transactions for accuracy.
  8. Coordinate monthly reconciliation reports for bank accounts, insurance, employees, and vendors.
  9. Lead the budgeting process, including forecasts and variance analysis, aligned with organizational goals.
  10. Manage cash flow to ensure operational liquidity.
  11. Conduct risk assessments related to liabilities and investments.
  12. Collaborate with other departments to identify workflow improvements and cost efficiencies.
  13. Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  14. Provide objective, authoritative advice to executives and the Regional CFO.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA/CFA or relevant professional qualification preferred.
  2. Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in finance management, preferably in the insurance industry.
  3. Strong understanding of financial management principles, accounting practices, and sector-specific regulations.
  4. Proven experience in financial analysis, modeling, and strategic planning.
  5. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
  6. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  7. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  8. High integrity and commitment to ethics and confidentiality.
