EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS :

• Bachelor Degree in Nursing
• Valid registration / license as a Nurse
• Registration as a Nursing Specialist in the Saudi Council

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

• Minimum of THREE (3) years’ experience as a Nurse, including TWO (2) years’ experience in a specialized medical care relevant to the assigned area.
• Current experience in a Charge Nurse capacity, or potential to fulfill the Charge Nurse role.
• Preferably, previous experience in a Middle East multicultural healthcare setting.
• One year of previous experience in a Charge Nurse role or similar position.

Recovery Room

• Post-Op Period management, including Epidural, PCA (Patient-Control Analgesia), and On-Q device (local infiltration of analgesia).
• Competent in airway management, able to recognize and intervene in acute respiratory problems like stridor and laryngospasm in the immediate post-op period.
• Assist anesthesiologist with intubation and extubation.
• Perform the modified Aldrete score for post-op patients.
• Assist with chest tube insertion during emergency situations.
