The Role

The proposal lead for Process & Pipeline and Umbilical Pre-commissioning RFPs, contributing to the achievement of EnerMech's AMEC region booking plan.

Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas

  1. Lead planning, preparation, approvals, submission, and close-out of RFPs.
  2. Prepare and lead tender kick-off calls.
  3. Develop technical and commercial proposal documents.
  4. Write methodologies and execution plans for deepwater and onshore pipelines pre-commissioning, decommissioning, ILI, and other inspection and repair activities.
  5. Write methodologies and execution plans for umbilical testing, inspection, monitoring, pre-commissioning, and repair activities.
  6. Estimate costs, time, and resources for pipeline pre-commissioning and umbilical activities.
  7. Prepare P&L, GP, GM, and cash flow reports.
  8. Develop manpower and equipment deployment plans.
  9. Coordinate with third parties for material and subcontracting costs.
  10. Handle technical and commercial clarifications with clients.
  11. Prepare approval files, graphs, P&L sheets, and cost breakdowns.
  12. Liaise with internal stakeholders and monitor tender progress.
  13. Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Finance, Contracts, Legal, Tax, BD, and other divisions for timely tender input and approvals.
  14. Follow tender approval processes and ensure proper approvals.
  15. Demonstrate cost efficiencies achieved during estimation.
  16. Manage monthly reporting data.
  17. Handle pre- and post-tender clarifications.
  18. Ensure compliance with tender formats.
  19. Conduct storyboard reviews during tender processes.
  20. Introduce innovative solutions for complex pricing.
  21. Manage tender folders on the server.
  22. Perform other tasks as assigned by the Tendering Manager.

Requirements

Essential:

  1. Experience in a techno-commercial role.
  2. Mandatory knowledge of deepwater and onshore pipelines and umbilical pre-commissioning.
  3. Understanding of onshore/offshore oil and gas markets.
  4. Experience in engineering and procedure writing.
  5. Experience in customer engagement and complex solutions.

Preferred:

  1. Site-based industry experience.
  2. Experience in tendering or commercial roles.
  3. Knowledge of Africa, Middle East, and Caspian Oil & Gas markets.
