Description:

Tokai, a global leader in high-quality ophthalmic lenses, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Representative for the Export Market to join our growing team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in optical sales, fluency in English and Arabic, and a passion for building long-term relationships with clients. This role will focus on driving sales and expanding Tokai’s market presence in the region.

Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development: Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the UAE and surrounding regions, particularly within the optical industry.
  2. Client Relations: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with opticians and distributors.
  3. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  4. Product Knowledge: Provide clients with in-depth knowledge of Tokai’s products, technologies, and unique offerings.
  5. Sales Reporting: Track and report sales activity, stay on top of market trends.
  6. Customer Support: Address customer inquiries, concerns, and provide after-sales support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of optical sales experience.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in French and Arabic is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the ophthalmic/optical industry.
  • Based in the UAE and willing to travel within the region; valid UAE driving license required.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients.
