Job Purpose:
To manage the efficient and effective planning and delivery of facilities management, maintenance, and HSE services across Dubai Chamber, ensuring compliance with requirements, protocols, and standards, and reflecting the organization's image.
Strategic Contribution
- Ensure effective cascading of the Administration departmental strategy into department business plans for alignment and integration with other strategies.
People Management
- Lead the Facilities Management section by setting objectives, managing performance, developing, and motivating staff to maximize performance.
- Assign projects to team members, manage their implementation considering project size and capabilities.
Budgeting and Financial Performance
- Develop and monitor the sectional budget, ensuring activities align with guidelines.
Facilities Management
- Develop, review, and implement annual maintenance plans to meet standards for effective operations.
- Oversee outsourced facility contracts, including MEP maintenance, security, cleaning, landscaping, catering, transportation, etc., ensuring safety and comfort.
HSE Aspects
- Oversee development and implementation of HSE plans, including fire drills and emergency plans, ensuring compliance and safety.
- Manage HSE reports and certification activities such as LEED, ISO standards.
Relationship Management
- Manage relationships with external service providers, resolve issues, and ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Evaluate contracted services regularly and ensure adherence to standards.
Information Security
- Adhere to information security policies and report breaches or incidents.
Policies, Systems, Processes, and Procedures
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, support development of policies and procedures, and ensure team compliance.
Quality, Health, Security, Safety, and Environment
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and procedures to guarantee safety and quality of services.
Reporting
- Prepare departmental reports timely and accurately according to standards.
Others
- Perform other relevant tasks as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electromechanical engineering or relevant field.
- Preference for ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 certification.
Minimum Experience and Skills
- 6-8 years in facilities management, including 4 years in managerial roles.
- Experience in MEP maintenance, security, firefighting systems, and AV installation.
- Basic LEED experience, team management, and MS applications proficiency.
