Job description

Principal Electrical Designer with proven experience in the design of substations, transmission and distribution systems in the Oil & Gas, hydrocarbon and / or infrastructure industries. Minimum 15 years' experience in FEED and detailed engineering of medium to large scale projects is required.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Plant and facility layout support and coordination
• Plant and facility layout and distribution
• Develop Area Classifications drawings
• Develop Physical design drawings (grounding / earthing, lighting protection, lighting voltage drop calculations, AG Power & Control, UG Cable / conduit, cable tray designs, etc)

Qualifications & Years of Experience :

Minimum Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Certification, with a minimum of 15 years' design experience in Oil & Gas, hydrocarbon and / or infrastructure industries.

• Must be a reliable designer who can work independently and able to lead / guide a team of 5 -10 electrical designers
• Must be proficient in developing design drawings using Microstation
• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco CADD standards is an advantage
• Must have excellent knowledge & understanding of Design practices, Construction Practices and Procedures
• Must be proficient in English; oral and written communication.
