We're Hiring: Specialist – Employee Engagement | Sharjah

Location: Sharjah, UAE

Languages: Fluent Arabic & English required

Are you passionate about building a strong workplace culture, driving employee engagement, and enhancing the employee experience across borders? We’re looking for an experienced Employee Engagement Specialist to join a respected energy organization with operations in Sharjah, London, Baghdad, and Erbil.

This is a high-impact role where you'll work closely with the Head of Employee Engagement and leadership teams to foster a connected, motivated, and engaged workforce.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Design and implement holistic employee engagement strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Support internal HR communications, employee well-being initiatives, recognition programs, and corporate culture development.
  • Lead the planning and execution of townhalls, team-building activities, social gatherings, and employee events.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for employee relations — managing policies, employee concerns, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies and maintain compliance with UAE labor law and internal governance.
  • Coordinate with international branch offices to ensure consistent HR practices across all locations.
  • Collaborate with communications teams to craft impactful internal messaging and drive company-wide engagement campaigns.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • 8–10 years of progressive HR experience,
  • Demonstrated success in employee engagement, internal communications, and HR operations.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Human Resources (MBA from a top-tier university is a plus).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working across multiple geographies is highly desirable.
  • Must be a confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels of the business.
