Job Description
  • Adhere to all Zahrawi Policies & Procedures as applicable.
Purchase Orders:
  • Ensure accuracy of the customers' LPOs and contact the concerned salesperson to resolve discrepancies.
  • Coordinate all pre-purchase order activities from the time the ORF is needed until the PO is issued.
  • Ensure POs are issued immediately for all non-stock items for created sales orders.
  • Report the current status of all pending/critical POs to the concerned Business Unit Manager and Procurement & Logistics Manager.
  • Follow up effectively on the progress of POs with vendors to confirm deliveries.
  • Prepare Sales Orders in line with Zahrawi’s checklist.
  • Ensure all FOC sales orders have approvals from the Business Unit Manager/Division Manager.
  • Maintain a sales log for LWF orders received and update it on Zahrawi’s ERP system when the LPO is received.
  • Support the Sales team to improve productivity by providing various support services.
  • Contact vendors to check availability, supply, shipments, and related activities.
  • Respond to vendors regarding any purchase order changes or cancellations.
  • Investigate discrepancies and customer satisfaction issues with vendors and assist the Sales team in resolving them.
  • Prepare and review vendor order confirmations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with conditions.
Administrative Responsibilities:
  • Identify problems and escalate them to the team leader.
  • Present information effectively and respond to colleagues’ questions.
  • Provide support to team members/departments to meet company/department goals.
  • Handle proper and effective business correspondence.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Experience: Basic understanding of Procurement; previous work experience is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering.
