Who we're looking for:

As an Account Executive at VML, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, facilitating relationships and ensuring their needs are met. You will play a crucial role in coordinating projects, facilitating communication between clients and internal teams, and driving overall client satisfaction.

What you'll be doing:
  1. Client Relationship Development: Strengthen, expand, and maintain positive relationships between the agency and clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and effective communication.
  2. Project Coordination: Act as a key integrator between internal teams and capabilities, ensuring a common understanding of timelines, projects, and upcoming events/requirements. Coordinate and follow up with all departments to ensure smooth operations and adherence to deadlines and budgets.
  3. Reporting: Maintain clear records, including briefs, status reports, timesheets, and contact reports, for the smooth operation of accounts. Develop any additional client projects reports as requested.
  4. Briefing Process: Receive and analyse briefs from clients, question them as necessary, and discuss with the Account Director and creative teams.
  5. Client Proposals: Prepare and present proposals to clients, defend creative work, and provide quotations for approval. Follow up on feedback and ensure amendments are communicated and executed timely.
  6. Financial Procedures: Ensure all financial procedures, from estimation to submission, are in order. Enter invoices, keep budgets updated, and coordinate approvals to ensure accurate billing.
  7. Market Insights: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market landscapes. Prepare and present reports that inform strategy and help clients stay ahead.
What you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, proactive and positive approach.
  • Excellent time and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience in agency account management is a plus.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
  • Strong problem-solving, initiative, and adaptability skills.
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn.
