Job description

Organization Unit Purpose
To provide support to the Head of TRY & ALM. The unit is responsible for monitoring the bank's net open FX position, reconciling FX retail flows with Treasury trading systems, and reporting Profit and Loss. It also involves trade price testing of various treasury products and asset classes, maintaining market & static data in TRY trading systems, and reporting client valuation for internal and external stakeholders. The team participates in system and product implementation projects.

Job Purpose
The job holder will support the Head of Treasury Finance, the Middle Office Team, and the Global Markets and Treasury Business. Responsibilities include independently reconciling FX flow business with Treasury trading systems, substantiating and reporting P&L figures for the treasury front office, maintaining system integrity for static and market data, analyzing and reporting client derivative exposures, and actively participating in UAT during Calypso system implementations.

Key Responsibilities
1. Reconcile the bank's net open position between core systems, general ledger, and Treasury trading systems.
2. Reconcile and monitor that all branch flows are captured accurately by the trading system.
3. Ensure FX flows from sales are correctly transferred to the trading desk for external coverage.
4. Ensure all treasury products are valued using approved market data, with data quality closely monitored.
5. Capture and configure static data in trading systems according to procedures.
6. Support system implementation projects by compiling requirements and participating in UAT.
7. Review market conformity reports and escalate issues appropriately.
8. Review front office profit and loss reports and provide commentary, substantiating P&L attribution to the treasury front office.

Required Experience
- Qualified Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance, Banking, or Financial Services/Treasury Finance.
- Knowledge of treasury products, transactions, and relevant banking regulations.
- Commercial acumen, market awareness, and understanding of financial dynamics.
- Knowledge of treasury systems and valuation tools; familiarity with market data sourcing.
- Ability to articulate complex concepts to colleagues and management.
- Experience with Calypso system is desirable.
- Good interpersonal skills to liaise with IT, operations, and front office departments.
