Role Title & Location: Client Leadership Director, Dubai

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  1. Lead a telco planning, implementation, and market excellence unit in the UAE office.
  2. Develop a deep understanding of clients’ businesses and industry sectors.
  3. Manage day-to-day and senior global client relationships, seeking opportunities to expand our partnership beyond marketing.
  4. Lead the client team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  5. Maintain quality control over client deliverables with specialist teams.
  6. Enhance C-suite relationships, service scope, and client satisfaction.
  7. Align initiatives and briefs with clients’ business goals through effective communication.
  8. Promote innovative thinking, especially in content, digital, technology, data, and commerce solutions.
  9. Understand client commercials, including resource scoping, quarterly forecasting, and identifying new revenue opportunities.
  10. Act as a change agent, showcasing great work and driving transformation within Mindshare.
  11. Contribute to marketing our vision and reputation.
  12. Build collaborations with WPP companies and agency partners, including media owners and tech/data providers.
  13. Recruit, manage, and develop a high-performing team aligned with client and strategic needs.

Ideal Profile

  1. Thought leader in brand building, data & technology, digital ecosystems, transformation, analytics, and innovation, recognized by industry stakeholders.
  2. Extensive relationships with key technology partners at senior levels, capable of extracting value from these partnerships.
  3. Proven track record in building strong regional and global client relationships within media, client organizations, or technology & data agencies.
  4. Deep understanding of the telecom and UAE government sectors, with relevant industry experience.
  5. Over 10 years of experience in integrated media, with a focus on telecom.
  6. Strong knowledge of customer data platforms and advanced analytics solutions.
  7. Experience in recruiting, managing, and inspiring client teams.
