Job description

IIQAF is a leading organization in the field of quality assurance and fitness, dedicated to the development and promotion of high-quality standards and practices globally. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant Foreman.

As the Assistant Foreman, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of our programs and services. You will work closely with the Foreman and other team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional performance. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to grow and develop within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Foreman in supervising and coordinating the work of technicians and maintenance staff.
  • Collaborate with the Foreman in developing and implementing maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Monitor and inspect equipment and facilities to ensure they are operating efficiently and in compliance with safety standards.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure products and services meet the required standards.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any technical or maintenance issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Assist in conducting training sessions for staff on safety, equipment handling, and maintenance procedures.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for procurement of materials and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, with some supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of maintenance procedures and equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance software is a plus.
