We are currently seeking a talented and passionate pastry chef to create delicious dishes at Soul Santé Cafe, a reputed vegan café based in Dubai. The selected candidate will play a key role in crafting and delivering tasty cuisine, providing an exceptional dining experience for our esteemed guests.

Responsibilities:
  1. Preparing a variety of dishes.
  2. Ensuring all food is of excellent quality and served in a timely manner.
  3. Planning the menu, considering the budget and seasonal ingredients.
  4. Coordinating with kitchen staff and assisting them as required.
  5. Studying each recipe and gathering necessary ingredients.
  6. Modifying recipes to meet customer needs and requests.
  7. Managing portion sizes of foods.
  8. Monitoring food stock and placing orders.
  9. Training other chefs and managing dish quality.
  10. Checking food freshness and discarding out-of-date items.
  11. Experimenting with recipes and suggesting new ingredients.
  12. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  13. Setting up the kitchen with utensils and equipment like knives, pans, and scales.
  14. Developing menus that adhere to nutritional standards and allergen requirements.
Requirements:
  • Proven work experience as a chef or cook.
  • Hands-on experience with kitchen equipment (e.g., grillers, pasta makers).
  • Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and handle various tasks.
